A Safer World????
Wasn't it just a few short months ago that Bush & Co where touting that we were living in a safer world since
our THEIR outsting of Saddam Hussien?
How come these headlines don't echo that premiss?
North Korea Says It Has Nuclear Arms, Suspends Talks
and...
Iran says it won't give up nuclear technology
People it looks to me like we are in deep crap. Our military forces are mired knee deep in Iraq. With no end in sight. Ninety per cent of the world is at odds with
US. Oh yeah the world is
So much safer now (
NOT!!)
Can armageddon be far off?
I'd like to personally thank all the people who voted to put this war monger back in office. Thank you so much for hastening the freaking end of the world. We have our very own homegrown terrorist-president.
I can just envision that scene from the movie
War Games.
"Shall we play a game?"
Only this time, it's for real.

Reality Bites
Once again reality bites Bush & Co. on the ass.
"Those who support terrorism cannot talk about combating terrorism," Tehran's Foreign Ministry spokesman
Hamid Reza Asefi's said on Sunday.
"TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) --
President Bush has no authority to accuse Iran of sponsoring terrorism while the U.S. supports "Zionist terrorists" and runs military prisons that use "torture," Asefi's said.
"The United States is supporting a Zionist terrorist group. In order to combat terrorism, the United States must start within itself. The issues of the Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay prisons is a shame for the United States which will not be wiped out anytime soon." Asefi's concluded.
I agree with Mr Asefi. If the leaders of this country are going to sancition torture, which is what they have done with their appointment and subsiquent confirmation of Albert Gonzales as Attorney General, then what right have they to point fingers at anyone?
In fact what this administration is doing is acting like the school yard bully. I suspect they will discover, Iran is not Iraq. The world will not set quietly by while the US stirs up yet another unwarrented war. At least I hope and pray they won't. Because I fear that the next war may end up being fought here on the homefront.
Of course I hoped and prayed the people of this country would not give Bush another four years in which to further his agenda. Which appears to be robbing the poor to give to the rich and global domination. Or maybe his true agenda is to hasten armageddon. Who knows with the smoke & mirrors bunch?
