Children of the Corn
The New York Daily News reports that Barbara loves her dad, but not his elephant political party.
The First Twins "don't buy into the conservative movement. They don't agree with their father's position on the environment and other issues."
Am I the only one who finds it poetic justice that the daughters of the uptight first couple, George W. & Laura Bush,
are
club hopping, party girls, who attend the University of Texas. While Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of "Wild Bill" attends Oxford and leads a fairly quiet life.
I guess sometimes the apple(s) does fall far from the tree. Then again, Boy George was a bit of a party boy in his hey day as well.

The Truth is Out There
Recently a fellow blogger told me she was seeking the 'truth'. Well, here is a place she can begin her journey.
DOJ Asked FBI Translator To Change Pre 9-11 Intercepts .
Thanks to
Collective Sigh, for the link to this valueable piece of truth.

Slip of the tounge?
In her denial of Richard Clarke's assertions that the Bush Administration ignored warnings about threats of terrorism prior to September 11th, Condolezza Rice said "He (meaning Clarke) and the President had conflicting ideas (she may have said
different ideas) . His (meaning Clarke again) were more aggressive...". Am I the only one who caught this little blunder? Does someone have a transcript of her comments? Because what I am thinking is , maybe they should have gone with Clarke's ideas instead of Dubyas.
This makes how many people now that have said, President Bush came into office with the intent of finding a reason to invade Iraq and take out Saddam? What will it take to get through to the people who insist this man is fit and capable of continuing to lead our country?

Certifiably Insane?
After reading this article (see the post "Be sure to Watch 60 Minutes tonight') over at
Corrente's , I have to wonder, 'have the people in this country
who continue to support George W. Bush and his Administration ,
gone certifiably insane? What other explaination is there?
As more and more people come forward with reports of Bush's actions during and regarding Sept 11th, I have to wonder what is it that keeps his die hard supporters clinging to him? They refuse to acknowledge the truth. Is it fierce loyalty or is it stubborn pride? Either way, it is frightening when you consider the consequences. Allowing this man to continue to lead us in times of trouble is suicidal.
