Happy New Year !!!
I'm hoping that the new year will be a healthy, and happy one for all of my friends in the political blogosphere. Even those who disagree with me from time to time (
delftsman ;-). I appreciate every person who visits my blog and everyone who takes the time to leave a comment. I thank you for sharing your opinions with me. I'm looking forward to another year of blogging and bantering with all of you!

Bush 'Undermining UN with Aid Coalition'
Yet another indication that this man thinks he's God's appointed/anointed one. Instead of trying to work well
with others, Bush is once again trying to domineer and take center stage. I can't help but think that Clare Short has it right when she says " I don’t know what this is about but it sounds very much, I am afraid, like the US trying to have a separate operation and not work with the rest of the world through the UN system." No big surprise here. It seems there is no end to Bush's arrogance. Guess he's still using that "political capital", he
thinks he gained in the recent
election/farce. You'd think by now he'd have figured out that the rest of the world isn't as impressed (not!) by him as his fellow Americans.

Welcome to Our World
"Half of the electorate will likely feel cheated when someone is sworn in..."
You might think I'm referring to the Presidental election this past November (or even the 2000
election farce). But not this time. It's a different Washington and at last, if for only once, the Dem's actually won one. For now anyway.
Governor's race to make many voters feel cheated
Too bad Indendents and Democrats nationwide didn't feel the same passion and determination that Washitonians felt. Too bad that John Kerry and the Democrats were willing to bow out quitely and let the Republicans
steal claim victory in yet another election.
Well, Republicans, in Washington state, who feel
"cheated", can now join the ranks of Independents and Democrats who've felt cheated for the past 9 years.
Welcome to our world folks. Sucks don't it?
